A twenty-eight-year-old man named Aryan died after being electrocuted and falling into an open drain in Noida Sector 57 during heavy rains. CCTV footage captured the incident, showing his coworker Shubham attempting an unsuccessful rescue. According to the Noida police, the incident occurred on July 9 when Aryan received an electrical shock from a short circuit near a power pole before falling into the drain.
He was rushed to a hospital but was declared dead. The incident has raised serious questions regarding the safety measures implemented by the Noida Authority.
