The investigation into the donation theft case at the temple in the holy city is intensifying, with police recovering a vehicle and gold items from the residence of an accused. Investigators suspect the assets were purchased using stolen temple funds. Meanwhile, the temple trust has deactivated the digital IDs of former officials, including a former general secretary, a trustee, and a former special invitee, following allegations that the IDs were misused to generate passes.
The trust plans to implement administrative changes at an upcoming meeting. Politically, the state's chief minister criticized opposition parties, while the opposition questioned the credibility of the probe. The case has reached the Supreme Court, with a three-judge bench scheduled to hear it.
