District Collector A. Siri on Friday (July 10, 2026) directed officials to ensure transparency, efficiency, and accountability through technology-driven governance in the cooperative sector, aiming to bring Kurnool district in line with digital reforms. Addressing the District Cooperative Development Committee meeting here, the Collector focussed on the functioning of cooperative societies, implementation of the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), Dynamic End of the Day (EOD) operations, salary payments, and infrastructure projects.
She directed officials to link all employees of cooperative societies with the HRMS platform to ensure attendance, service records, payroll, and other administrative functions are handled digitally. She said salaries should henceforth be disbursed through the HRMS module to ensure timely payments and better financial management. Siri stated that 103 employees of the district’s cooperative wing had received approval from the District Level Implementation Committee to get salaries through HRMS.
The committee further approved the Detailed Project Report for the construction of a 2,900-metric-tonne grain storage warehouse proposed at Parla village in Kallur mandal under the World’s
Largest Grain Storage initiative, she added. The Collector appealed to the employees to strengthen cooperative institutions and improve services for farmers through concerted efforts with government guidelines.
