Parents of a nine-year-old Class 4 student who died after jumping from the school building at Nirja Modi School in Jaipur have released classroom CCTV footage from the day of the incident. The footage, according to the family, shows the student approaching her teacher multiple times and allegedly trying to report bullying by classmates, but no effective intervention followed. The video also appears to show the student confronting classmates before leaving the classroom, going to the fourth floor, and jumping from the building.
The parents have accused the school administration and teachers of negligence, alleging that their concerns were ignored and key details were missed during the initial investigation. They are demanding an inquiry against the school’s principal and chairman under the Juvenile Justice Act and are seeking accountability over the alleged lack of timely action.
