The Uttar Pradesh government has launched the MUVA scheme to support young aspiring entrepreneurs in the state by addressing their primary funding challenges. Under this initiative, permanent residents of Uttar Pradesh aged between twenty-one and forty years can access collateral-free and interest-free loans of up to five lakh rupees. Eligible applicants must have passed at least Class 8 and hold a technical degree, diploma, ITI certificate, or a recognized skill training certificate.
The government also offers a margin money grant of up to ten percent of the project cost. Beneficiaries who repay their initial loan on time can apply for a second-stage loan between ten to twenty lakh rupees with an interest subsidy of up to fifty percent.
