Andhra Pradesh had also sought the release of the remaining funds from the proposed ₹321 crore allocation for 2026-27. Dinakar said the State had recorded a reduction of over 10% in chemical fertilizer consumption, and was expected to receive about ₹300 crore under the Centre’s PM PRANAM incentive scheme.
Citing comparative studies, he said paddy farmers had reported a 56% rise in income and cotton farmers a 97% increase under natural farming, making the model increasingly attractive across the State.
