The Israeli leader also discussed the need for security zones along Israel’s borders, according to his office.
Iran Reports Fresh Explosions The call came shortly after Iranian media reported multiple explosions across southern Iran, including in Bushehr, where Iran has a nuclear facility, and Konarak. The cause of the explosions remained unclear. US officials told media outlets that the American military was not carrying out strikes in Iran at the time. The reports came as Iran faced a third consecutive day of strikes following the start of renewed fighting between Washington and Tehran. The US had confirmed responsibility for the previous two rounds of strikes, saying they were carried out in response to attacks on shipping vessels by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. However, Washington has not announced that it carried out the latest reported strikes.
