In the Ram Mandir donation scam, police have recovered a Swift Dzire car and jewellery, including gold chains, from the residence of an accused who is currently in remand. The recovered car, registered in May 2025 at the Ayodhya RTO office in the name of the accused's father, was allegedly purchased using money stolen from the temple.
Police conducted early morning searches at the houses of three accused in remand to avoid hindrances. The recovery of these assets has raised questions, as the accused reportedly earns a monthly salary of thirteen to fifteen thousand rupees. The vehicle has been parked at the Ram Janmabhoomi police station.
