Environmental activists blame large-scale concretisation and unscientific pruning, arguing that concrete suffocates roots by blocking water, air, and nutrients, which accelerates decay. However, municipal bodies attribute the collapses to high wind speeds. The recurring tree falls have raised critical concerns regarding urban planning and environmental management.
