Iran has launched a counter-offensive against American strikes by firing 10 ballistic missiles at Jordan's Azraq military base. Iran's Revolutionary Guards warned that further US aggression would lead to more targeting of American bases in the region. This escalation follows US-Israeli strikes on over 90 locations, including air defences, command networks, coastal radars, and IRGC assets, triggered by tanker incidents in the Strait of Hormuz.
The memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran has collapsed, resulting in renewed attacks and shipping disruptions along the Strait of Hormuz, with both sides apparently deciding against de-escalation.
