The United States has launched fresh strikes on around 90 targets across Iran, including key ports, transport links, and strategic infrastructure, following the collapse of the memorandum of understanding. Hit targets include the Chabahar Tower, railway bridges along the Iran-China rail corridor, and areas near the Bushehr nuclear power plant. In response, Iran has targeted US-linked assets in Gulf countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.
Warnings were issued that the Strait of Hormuz must remain open to ensure energy flows. The escalating conflict has raised regional security concerns and heightened tensions across West Asia.
