Sunil S. Jalalpure, veteran administrator, has been elected secretary of KLE Society in Belagavi. Jalapure has served as the joint secretary of the society for several years. He joined KLE Society in 1998 and became a life member in 2013. He has served in various positions, including teaching, research and educational administration.
A distinguished scientist, Prof. Jalapure was recently ranked among the top 5% of scientists worldwide in the Global Scientist Index 2025. He has secured over ₹4 crore in research grants from premier bodies like UGC, AICTE, DST, ICMR and DBT. He has published over 195 research articles, holds eight patents, authored 13 books and mentored 90 postgraduate and Ph.D researchers.
