However, earlier the Governor of the Bushehr, Arslan Zare, had denied any attacks on the facility. The US, reportedly, attacked the nuclear power plant on Wednesday night. Visuals, which carried the watermark of Al Mehr News, posted on the microblogging site X, showed smoke billowing out of a nuclear power plant.
