In a bid to intensify the exercise of digitising the enumeration form of the voters for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, East Godavari District Collector Kirthi Chekuri on Wednesday tasked the representatives of political parties to track down the “untraced voters”.
A door-to-door enumeration exercise under the SIR of electoral rolls began on June 15 across Andhra Pradesh and will continue till July 14. As on Wednesday, the district has recorded digitising of over 12.85 lakh enumeration forms of the voters.
Meanwhile, special control rooms and a help desk have been set up to assist voters in the ongoing phase. “The BLOs are visiting every household to collect the enumeration forms. However, most of the voters are untraceable owing to various reasons,” Ms. Kirthi said in a review meeting, adding that the voters can also submit their enumeration forms online.
Those required assistance for filling up the enumeration form can dial District Control Room 0883-2944455 or Help Desk 9347794619, 9505136146.
