Four students of Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS) Deemed-to-be University near Madanapalle in Annamayya district won the prestigious ISTE-2025 Student Awards presented by the Andhra Pradesh Section of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) in recognition of their academic excellence and innovation.
According to a press release, the awards were presented during the ISTE-2025 State Awards ceremony held at Aditya Institute of Technology and Management in Tekkali in Srikakulam district on Wednesday. M. Harshitha Reddy received the Best CSE Student Award, A. Sathya Priya was honoured as the Best ECE Student, K.
Mohammad Azmathulla won the Best Mechanical Engineering Student Award, and Gorla Teja secured the Best Student Innovator Award respectively. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Anantapur (JNTU-A) Vice-Chancellor H. Sudharshana Rao highlighted ISTE’s role in promoting technical education and called on the students to pursue emerging fields, including quantum computing.
MITS Chancellor N. Vijaya Bhaskar Choudary said the awards were a testimony to the varsity’s commitment to academic excellence and innovation among students.
