An India Today ground report by Mir Farid from Kabul, Afghanistan, highlights the devastation following a Pakistani aerial strike on a hospital compound. The attack, which occurred on 16 March around 9:00 PM, targeted a compound where drug abuse victims were rehabilitating. According to the Afghan government, close to 470 patients were killed and more than 270 were injured in the strike.
Pakistan claimed the hospital was a centre where terror groups planned attacks, a version hotly disputed by the Taliban, who called it an act of aggression against civilians. The site remains untouched by the Afghan government to showcase Pakistani aggression, an incident that has changed Afghanistan-Pakistan relations forever.
