Heavy traffic congestion was witnessed on several major stretches, including Geeta Colony Road towards Noida, NH-48, Old Rohtak Road and Akshardham Road to Noida. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘orange’ alert, warning of intermittent showers with heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated spots, along with gusty winds reaching 60–70 kmph.
