The Bengaluru police have arrested the whistleblower in the corporate daycare harassment case on charges of violating several laws. Authorities stated that the whistleblower failed to share the recorded abuse videos with the competent local police, instead distributing them to a third party. Additionally, investigators claim the whistleblower staged an incident by locking children inside a bathroom to record incriminating evidence after a dispute regarding employment and salary restoration.
Following the incident at the corporate campus in Brookfield, the Karnataka Home Minister and the Bengaluru Police Commissioner are contemplating a standard operating procedure containing guidelines for corporate daycare centres.
