This is the latest attack on ships moving through the narrow mouth of the Persian Gulf amid US-Iran tensions. News agency AP, citing the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations centre, reported that the third ship was targeted by a drone in the critical oil-shipping waterway, where two other tankers had been attacked earlier in the day. The third tanker is learnt to have sustained minor damage and continued its journey as no injuries have been reported so far, the UKMTO said.
