The Maharaja Institute of Technology, Tandavapura (MITT), has entered into an MoU with Cybe Global Pvt. Ltd. to promote cybersecurity awareness and skill development. The MoU was followed by a three-day faculty development programme on cybersecurity on the institute premises. Speaking on the occasion, founder and CEO of Cybe Global Pvt.
Ltd., Sathyavathi Divadri, said the company aimed to spread cybersecurity knowledge among one million people and stressed the need to enhance digital safety awareness in an increasingly connected world. Later, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission’s Mysuru cluster head Sudheer Shankar spoke about the need for stronger collaboration between industries and the Government of Karnataka.
He stated that greater industrial investment in Mysuru would significantly contribute to employment generation and economic growth. The programme was also attended by strategic advisor, Cybe Global, Babji V.S. and director, Poorvi Consultancy Services, Manjunath N. Bhat. Presiding over the event, the principal of MITT, Y.T. Krishnegowda, who is also the secretary of Maharaja Education Trust, stressed the importance of extending cybersecurity awareness to every rural community.
