Telangana woman injected toilet cleaner into husband's veins, killed him with lover's help. Nizamabad Murder: In a horrific incident, a woman in Telangana’s Nizamabad allegedly killed her husband by injecting toilet cleaner into his veins through a cannula while he was undergoing treatment after surviving an earlier murder attempt, police said on Monday. The mother of the victim approached the police on July 1 after she came to know about the death of her son, identified as 35-year-old Prasanth, who works in a Gulf country, on June 30, news agency PTI reported.
According to police, Prashanth’s mother approached the police after finding his death suspicious and alleging she had not been informed about his return home or the circumstances leading to his death. Police have arrested the victim’s wife, Sandhya (32), her alleged lover Anil (35), and their associate Venkata Sai, alias Bunty (25), in connection with the murder case. During the investigation, police claimed that Sandhya and Anil were in an extramarital relationship and conspired to eliminate Prashanth, whom they considered an obstacle. They allegedly enlisted the help of Venkata Sai to execute the plan. According to their plan, Sai went to the residence of Prasanth on June 29 and made him consume a lot of liquor. Then, he took Prasanth to the terrace of the building and pushed him as per the instructions of Sandhya over the phone.
Although he sustained serious injuries, he survived the fall and was taken to a government hospital before being shifted to a private hospital for treatment. Police claimed that after Prashanth was brought back home, Sandhya, acting on Anil’s instructions, injected toilet cleaner liquid through the cannula attached to him. Investigators also alleged that she administered an anaesthesia drug to him and later pushed him off the bed, resulting in his death. The three accused have allegedly confessed to the crime during questioning, police said. They have been arrested, produced before a court and remanded to judicial custody. Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
