Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri Ji Maharaj addressed the alleged Ram Mandir donation controversy, saying the Trust was betrayed by individuals trusted by former General Secretary Champat Rai. He clarified that Krishna Mohan's appointment as General Secretary is only interim for now and ruled out any possibility of Champat Rai or Anil Mishra returning to the Trust.
He also defended the Trust's financial oversight, saying regular audits were conducted through Chartered Accountants.
