The religious trust managing the temple has accepted the resignations of key officials amid an ongoing investigation into the alleged theft of donations. Following an emergency meeting, the trust appointed an interim general secretary to oversee operations and plug management loopholes that led to the embezzlement controversy. A search committee has also been formed to appoint a new chief executive officer for better administration.
The trust clarified that all donated valuables, including gold-plated items and jewellery, remain safe and accounted for, offering devotees an open invitation to verify their donated items at the office. With a special investigation team currently probing the financial irregularities, the trust awaits the final report before making further administrative decisions. The next formal meeting is scheduled for the twenty-second of July to reassess the situation and implement stricter security and financial protocols to restore the faith of devotees following the recent public scrutiny over the management of funds.
