Kathatitam, a village-themed library and reading experience centre in Gachibowli here, hosted a reading session on the Telugu translation of acclaimed author Ruskin Bond’s autobiography Lone Fox Dancing on Monday. The event featured translator Dasari Amarendra, who interacted with readers and spoke about O Ekantha Jeevi Brathukata, the Telugu version of Bond’s autobiography.
The session was conducted by Kathatitam co-founder Shilpa Kiran, who led participants through discussions on the book. Organised in collaboration with Kathaaprapancham Books and publisher Tirupati Kiran, the event explored Bond’s life and literary journey through readings and conversations.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Amarendra said the book offers an important lesson for children by showing that true happiness lies in leading a meaningful life
rather than pursuing material possessions. He said Bond’s life story encourages young readers to value contentment over the acquisition of things.
