Actor Allu Arjun appeared virtually before the Nampally court regarding the Pushpa 2 premiere stampede case, in which a woman died. The actor had sought permission to appear virtually due to pre-committed shooting schedules, which was granted. Meanwhile, the other two accused in the case were absent and will file an absence petition.
The court has adjourned the matter to July 29. The stampede occurred during a premiere show at a Hyderabad theatre when a crowd crush ensued after Allu Arjun made a surprise appearance. The actor, who is named as an accused in the case, was previously arrested briefly after the incident.
