The operation was carried out following raids at multiple locations in the three states. Read Full Story Officials said the six arrested accused were allegedly part of the network and are being questioned to ascertain the full extent of the conspiracy and identify other individuals linked to the operation.
During the raids, police recovered several firearms, petrol bombs and vehicles allegedly used by members of the network. The seized material is being examined as part of the ongoing investigation. The Special Cell said the probe is focused on uncovering the wider network, including its funding, logistics and operational links. Investigators are also examining whether the arrested accused had planned or executed any specific acts of violence. BOMBS USED IN RANCHI RSS OFFICE ATTACK Police officials noted that petrol bombs had also been used in the recent attack on the RSS office in Ranchi and said investigators would examine whether there are any links between that incident and the network allegedly associated with Shahzad Bhatti.
However, no official confirmation of such a connection has been made. According to the Delhi Police, the investigation is still at a preliminary stage, and the accused are being interrogated to gather more information about the alleged terror and arms supply modules. Officials said further arrests and recoveries are possible as the probe progresses. The operation is part of the Special Cell's continued efforts to dismantle cross-border terror and organised crime networks operating in different parts of the country. Authorities said all evidence recovered during the raids is being analysed, while investigators are working to establish the role of each accused and identify any additional operatives connected to the alleged modules.
Police said more details are expected to emerge as the investigation advances. Ends
