The Indian Navy is set to commission INS Mahendragiri, the sixth Project 17A stealth frigate, in Visakhapatnam on July 11. Built by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. with 75% indigenous content, the warship is equipped with BrahMos missiles, Barak air defence systems and advanced anti-submarine warfare capabilities, strengthening India's maritime defence.
