Read Full Story The blast injured five people, including Satbir's wife Madhu, daughter Tanu, a two-year-old relative identified as Khushi, and neighbour Jai Bhagwan, a CRPF personnel. All the injured suffered burn injuries and were initially treated before being referred to a higher medical centre. One of the victims is reported to be in critical condition. Tanu, who was among those seriously injured, is said to be in a precarious state.
Family members said her wedding was scheduled to take place in November this year, but the accident has cast a shadow over the family's preparations. The explosion sent shockwaves through the locality, with residents rushing out of their homes after hearing the loud blast. The extent of the damage left the area shaken, while authorities moved swiftly to secure the site. The exact cause of the explosion remains unclear. Following the incident, Rewari Police and a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) reached the spot and began an investigation.
The area was sealed off and forensic experts collected samples and other evidence from the scene. Officials are examining all possible causes, including a gas cylinder leak and other potential sources of the blast.
