Jordan Henderson laughed off rumours that England were using Viagra to combat high altitude conditions ahead of their FIFA World Cup Round of 16 clash with co-hosts Mexico at the Estadio Azteca, which sits over 2,000 metres above sea level. Responding to online speculation — fuelled by reports that the drug, not banned by WADA, could theoretically help counter altitude effects like fatigue and shortness of breath — Henderson quipped, "Well, the Viagra helped, I think," before quickly clarifying he was joking.
