देशभर में मानसून अब पूरी तरह सक्रिय हो चुका है और इसका असर उत्तर से लेकर दक्षिण और पूर्व से लेकर पश्चिम भारत तक साफ दिखाई दे रहा है। लगातार हो रही बारिश ने कई राज्यों में जनजीवन प्रभावित कर दिया है। कहीं सड़कें पानी में डूब गई हैं तो कहीं नदियां उफान पर हैं। इसी बीच भारत मौसम विभाग यानी IMD ने 5 जुलाई को उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, दिल्ली समेत 18 राज्यों में भारी बारिश, तेज आंधी और वज्रपात का अलर्ट जारी किया है। मौसम विभाग के मुताबिक, कई राज्यों में 40 से 70 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तेज हवाएं चल सकती हैं।
ऐसे मौसम में पेड़ गिरने, बिजली आपूर्ति बाधित होने निचले इलाकों में जलभराव की आशंका जताई गई है। The monsoon has now fully activated across the country and its effects are clearly visible from North to South and East to West India. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds with speeds of 40 to 70 kilometers per hour can blow in many states. In such weather, there is a possibility of falling trees, power supply disruption and waterlogging in low-lying areas.
