The second day of the Amarnath Yatra saw thousands of pilgrims embarking on their journey to the holy cave from the Baltal and Pahalgam base camps. Devotees from various parts of the country waited in queues for hours to proceed on the pilgrimage.
Authorities have put in place elaborate security arrangements and thorough check-ins at the base camps. Good wishes were extended to the yatris with suggestions to cooperate with security agencies and the Shrine Board to ensure safety and precautions during the pilgrimage.
