Jammalamadugu MLA accuses YSRCP of ‘misleading’ claims on JSW steel plant
Government whip and BJP MLA C. Adinarayana Reddy slammed the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for allegedly claiming credit for the establishment of the much-awaited JSW
Government whip and BJP MLA C. Adinarayana Reddy slammed the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for allegedly claiming credit for the establishment of the much-awaited JSW Rayalaseema Steel Plant in his Jammalamadugu constituency of Kadapa district. He made a specific reference to Kadapa MP and YSCRP leader Y.S. Avinash Reddy’s recent statement that it was the erstwhile YSRCP regime that had worked hard towards getting the necessary permissions for the project, while also accusing the NDA alliance of stealing the credit.
Addressing the media in Tirupati on Saturday, Mr. Adinarayana Reddy refuted the alleged claims made by Mr. Avinash Reddy and insisted that the statutory permissions were secured after the NDA government came to power in the State. “Apart from laying multiple foundation stones at two different venues, the YSRCP did nothing tangible to execute the project.
The deceptive ‘bhumi puja’ events were also aimed at hoodwinking the public and playing with the sentiments of the people of Kadapa district”, he charged. He also accused former
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of floating the ‘Mavigun theory’ in an apparent bid to derail the development taking place at a brisk pace in Amaravati capital region.
