Fifteen Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors (AMVIs) completed a five-month training programme at the RBVRR Telangana Police Academy, with a passing-out parade held on Saturday to mark the occasion. Additional Commissioner of Transport Department C. Ramesh attended the ceremony as the chief guest and presented certificates to the newly trained officers.
Congratulating the batch, he said the officers must discharge their duties with commitment to road safety and public service, adding that reducing road accidents and saving lives were among the primary responsibilities of Transport Department officials. Trophies were presented to trainees for outstanding performance during the course.
Janakiram received awards in the All-Rounder and Indoor categories, while Sravanthi was recognised for excellence in the Outdoor category. The event was attended by senior officials of the Telangana Police Academy and the Transport Department, including
Academy Deputy Directors P.S.R. Murthy and K.R.K. Prasad, Assistant Directors Vema Srinivasa Reddy and Yarlagadda Rambabu, Regional Transport Officer Raghunandan Goud, District Transport Officer Ravindra Kumar, Motor Vehicle Inspector Sheetal, faculty members, trainees and their family members.
