Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar will undertake a two-day official tour of Bidar and Kalaburagi districts on July 6 and 7 to review development works, chair an administrative review meeting and interact with Congress workers, according to an official release issued by B.S. Sridhar, Officer on Special Duty to the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister will arrive at the Bidar Airbase from Bengaluru on July 6 and proceed to Basavakalyan to inspect the progress of the New Anubhava Mantapa project. Later in the evening, he will interact with party workers at the District Congress Committee (DCC) office in Bidar.
He will then travel to Kalaburagi, where he is scheduled to hold a meeting with local Congress leaders and workers at the DCC office before halting for the night. On July 7, Mr. Shivakumar will chair the Kalaburagi Regional Division-level departmental progress review meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s office auditorium at 10.30 a.m. The meeting will review the implementation of development works and key government welfare programmes across the region.
The Chief Minister will return to Bengaluru by a special flight from Kalaburagi on July 7 evening after concluding his engagements.
