The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has updated India's terror blacklist by designating 23 individuals as terrorists under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The latest list includes several operatives and leaders linked to Pakistan-based terror outfits, including Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). Among those designated are JeM leaders Masood Ilyas and Abdul Rauf, as part of the government's continued efforts to strengthen its counter-terror framework.
