The Telangana government has released ₹6,590.36 crore under the Rythu Bharosa – Vanakalam 2026 investment support scheme to 65.76 lakh farmers, covering 109.84 lakh acres, within the first four days of disbursement. According to official data, the financial assistance was credited in a phased manner based on the extent of landholding, with payments covering farmers owning up to five acres by the fourth day. On June 30, the government credited assistance to 26.55 lakh farmers owning up to one acre, transferring ₹878.94 crore for 14.65 lakh acres.
On the same day, another 17.73 lakh beneficiaries holding up to two acres received ₹1,603.08 crore, covering 26.72 lakh acres. On July 1, the second phase covered 10.68 lakh farmers with landholdings of up to three acres, with ₹1,590.02 crore released for 26.50 lakh acres. The latest tranche, released on July 3, benefited 4.41 lakh farmers holding up to five acres. The government transferred ₹1,187.99 crore, covering 19.80 lakh acres. With the completion of four phases, the government has so far credited ₹6,590.36
crore to 65.76 lakh beneficiaries, covering 109.84 lakh acres. Officials said the phased release of Rythu Bharosa assistance for the Vanakalam 2026 season is progressing as scheduled, with payments to farmers having larger landholdings expected in the subsequent phases.
