Following a donation theft case, the Ram Temple in Ayodhya has overhauled its cash counting system by implementing strict security protocols. Under the new measures, the counting staff must undergo a two-stage security check and wear pocketless dark blue uniforms. Additionally, mobile phones, cameras, and bags are prohibited inside the counting hall, and staff must count the donations while sitting on the floor.
Meanwhile, the key accused has confessed to the crime, admitting that the stolen money was distributed equally among the co-accused. The Special Investigation Team is also investigating if any temple ornaments were stolen. The controversy has triggered a political storm, with an organization leader refusing to answer questions about the issue.
