In a major push towards expanding renewable energy in Uttar Pradesh, Coal India Limited (CIL) and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL) have signed a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) to develop renewable energy projects across the state. The agreement was signed in the presence of UPRVUNL Managing Director Mayur Maheshwari and Coal India Director (Business Development) Asheesh Kumar.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Invest UP PSU Head Subodh Dixit and senior officials from both organisations.
