The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has put in place security arrangements for the written examination for various vacant posts of Assistant Engineers in the Agricultural Marketing Department, Karnataka State Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (KSSIDC), and the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB). The examinations will be held on July 4 and July 5.
For candidates under the Kalyana Karnataka category, the exam will be conducted at three centres each in Bengaluru and Kalaburagi on July 4. For candidates under the Non-Kalyana Karnataka quota, the exam will be held at 22 centres in Bengaluru, six in Hubballi, and six in Kalaburagi on July 5, according to KEA Executive Director H.
Prasanna. The KEA has arranged webcasting at all examination centres, allowing activities to be monitored in real time from a Command Centre set up at the KEA headquarters in Bengaluru. District Collectors and Superintendents of Police will also oversee security and monitoring at the local level.
A total of 2,400 candidates are expected to appear for the examination on July 4, while 16,423 candidates will take the exam on July 5.
