Siya Goyal and her alleged boyfriend Chetan Choudhary are in police custody for the alleged murder of her fiancé, Chetan Agarwal, at Lohagad Fort in Maharashtra. A third individual, a twenty-two-year-old classmate of Chetan Choudhary from Beed, has been taken into custody for questioning. Investigators revealed the duo discussed the murder plot with this classmate, who allegedly advised against it and refused to accompany them.
Despite this, Chetan Choudhary reportedly met the classmate after the incident. Meanwhile, Siya Goyal sparked controversy by showing a middle finger to reporters while being brought out from the police station. The Pune rural police are currently gathering corroborative evidence, including CCTV footage from the Lohagad ticket counter and deleted WhatsApp chats sent to the forensic science laboratory, to build a watertight case against the accused in the absence of direct video evidence of the crime.
