A twenty-si year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a hotel room in Hyderabad. The deceased had checked into the hotel on Thursday night with a thirty-four-year-old male acquaintance. The acquaintance claimed he stepped out of the room and returned to find the woman hanging, after which he alerted the authorities.
However, the woman's family has rejected the suicide claim, alleging murder and raising suspicions about the role of the acquaintance. The local police inspected the scene, sent the body for a post-mortem examination, and registered a case. The male companion has been detained for questioning. Investigators are examining both homicide and suicide angles, awaiting forensic evidence to determine the cause of death.
