A shocking incident of child abuse has emerged from a daycare center located at a corporate campus in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Caregivers at the facility allegedly subjected toddlers to severe physical harassment to silence them when they cried. According to the police complaint, young children were forced to sit inside front-loading washing machines, sprayed with water using jet sprays, and locked inside washrooms. The caregivers reportedly committed these acts in areas hidden from CCTV cameras to avoid detection.
Following a formal complaint and the emergence of disturbing video evidence, Bengaluru Police registered a First Information Report against five women caregivers. The corporate firm has temporarily shut down the daycare facility while authorities investigate the matter. The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has intervened, and the state government has assured a thorough investigation into the facility's operations and safety protocols. Authorities are currently examining whether the daycare was directly managed by the company or operated by a third-party service provider.
