Yamal, who is playing his first FIFA World Cup tournament for Spain in the ongoing 2026 edition, has won three of the four matches he has played with La Roja at the FIFA World Cup 2026 so far. At this year’s FIFA World Cup, Yamal has scored one goal for Spain, which came against Saudi Arabia in La Roja’s second Group H match. The teenage sensation opened the scoring for the 2010 FIFA World Cup winners in the 10th minute of the contest. He also featured in the starting XI for Spain’s final group-stage match against Uruguay, helping his side secure a place in the knockout stage.
