Citing a highly compromised political environment and systemic irregularities, the party leadership declared that it refuses to participate in any polling under the current circumstances, dealing a severe blow to the credibility of the regional democratic exercise.

The party has backed its hardline stance with immediate operational rollbacks. The PTI leadership has officially suspended all ticket distribution processes and completely halted the recommendations of its parliamentary board for the PoK polls. According to an official party directive, all campaign-related activities, public rallies, and formal ticket issuances have been postponed indefinitely until further notice, effectively freezing the party’s entire electoral machinery across the occupied territory. The party has urged state authorities to halt the unilateral electoral process and resolve the deep-seated grievances plaguing PoK through mutual understanding, institutional consensus, and open political dialogue. In its concluding policy statement, the party stressed that its long-term political struggle for the fundamental democratic and constitutional rights of the Kashmiri people will continue unabated outside the legislative assembly.
