During the visit, he launched the second phase of the School Chalo Abhiyan, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects worth more than ₹613 crore, and distributed certificates to beneficiaries of various government welfare schemes. The Uttar Pradesh government said the Chief Minister has maintained regular field visits across the state despite his official engagements, with a focus on monitoring development work, reviewing public issues and ensuring the implementation of welfare programmes.
According to the government, Yogi Adityanath has visited Saharanpur once every month from March to July, reviewing key issues related to development, education, flood preparedness, tourism and public welfare during each visit. Sports College Begins Academic Session The state government has also announced a major boost for sports infrastructure in Saharanpur with the launch of the academic session of the Saharanpur Sports College for 2026-27. The college is one of two new sports colleges approved by the state government. Construction of the institution, which had remained pending since 2011, has now been completed. A total of 80 seats have been reserved for athletes across different disciplines. The seat distribution is as follows Athletics (Runner – Boys): 8 seats Athletics (Jumper – Boys): 6 seats Athletics (Thrower – Boys): 6 seats Hockey (Boys): 21 seats Hockey Goalkeeper (Boys): 4 seats Judo (Boys): 10 seats Boxing (Boys): 15 seats Weightlifting (Boys): 10 seats The government said weightlifting has been introduced for the first time in a state sports college through Saharanpur Sports College.

April 14: Attended the launch of the Delhi–Baghpat–Saharanpur–Dehradun Economic Corridor. May 7: Inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 325 development projects worth ₹2,131 crore in Deoband and distributed benefits under various government welfare schemes to more than 1,600 beneficiaries. June 1: Offered prayers at Maa Shakumbhari Devi Siddhpeeth, visited flood-affected areas and chaired a review meeting on the situation. July 1: Launched the second phase of the School Chalo Abhiyan, inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of development projects worth more than ₹613 crore, and distributed certificates to beneficiaries of government schemes.
