Mysuru: 3.35 lakh Enumeration Forms distributed in SIR drive

The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls is progressing steadily across Mysuru district, with 3,35,089 Enumeration Forms (EFs) distributed to eligible voters so far. The district administration said 96.64% of the district’s electorate has been mapped as part of the ongoing revision exercise.
Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been carrying out house-to-house distribution of Enumeration Forms since June 30 across all 11 Assembly constituencies in the district. The exercise is part of the Election Commission’s drive to update and verify electoral rolls. According to a press release issued by the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mysuru, 27,99,693 Enumeration Forms have been printed for the district’s nearly 28 lakh electors spread across 2,915 polling stations.
The distribution of Enumeration Forms and the digitisation of voter data will continue until July 29. Among the Assembly constituencies, Hunsur recorded the highest distribution
with 45,702 Enumeration Forms, followed by Piriyapatna (41,370) and H.D. Kote (40,156). Chamundeshwari constituency accounted for 35,667 forms distributed, while K.R. Nagar recorded 30,502.
