The matter was raised in the Vidhan Sabha, where a ruling party member demanded the registration of a culpable homicide case against the concerned contractor and the suspension of all supervisory officers of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation.
Addressing allegations of corruption from opposition leaders, the representative stated that the ruling party is raising issues on the floor of the house and holding the administration accountable. The representative also criticized opposition leaders for neglecting public service and being absent on the field during the monsoon season over the last twenty-five years.
