Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Thursday began chairing a series of review meetings planned at the department level to chalk out one-year, three-year and five-year action plans and review key activities and functioning.
On Thursday morning, Mr. Vijay chaired a review meeting on the functioning of the Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection Department. Minister for Food and Civil Supplies P. Venkataramanan, Minister for Cooperation V. Gandhiraj, and Minister for Finance N.
Marie Wilson participated in the meeting. Later in the afternoon, Mr. Vijay held a review meeting of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, along with Minister for Revenue and Disaster Management K.A. Sengottaiyan and Mr. Wilson.
During the meetings, Chief Secretary M. Sai Kumar and other senior officials attended. The Chief Minister is scheduled to hold a series of review meetings of various departments till July 22.
