Following heavy rainfall in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and other areas, the Andheri subway has reopened after being temporarily shut. BMC workers used pumps to drain water from the subway. In Dadar, roads were submerged, and waterlogged railway tracks at Dadar station caused delays and cancellations for suburban rail services.
BMC officials cleared drains to facilitate water flow. In Vasai, heavy vehicles were swept away by the rain, and a deployed JCB machine was half submerged. King Circle also grappled with waterlogging, where a vegetable vendor was seen pushing his cart through flooded roads.
