Bellingham, who opened his tournament account in England’s 4-2 victory over Croatia before earning Player of the Match honours against Ghana and Panama in the group stage, is now focused on the Three Lions’ Round of 32 clash with DR Congo.
But Bellingham, a confessed film enthusiast, has his sights all set on emulating not only Bobby Moore’s 1966 FIFA World Cup win but the suave legacy of another Moore as well, Roger Moore. “What are you talking about?" 😂Thomas Tuchel reacts to Jude Bellingham auditioning for the next James Bond… pic.twitter.com/YtS5oEquas — Sky Sports News (@SkySportsNews) July 1, 2026 Speaking to James Corden on Fox’s World Cup After Hours, Bellingham opened up about his ambitions beyond football, revealing his interest in pursuing acting. “I would love to be in a movie. “I would love to be James Bond. I have watched all of them. I have watched the (Sean) Connery ones and the Roger Moore ones; I have seen all of them. I love James Bond," Bellingham added. Corden then challenged the 23-year-old to deliver the iconic line, “The name’s Bond, James Bond." After giving it his best shot, Bellingham laughed and quipped, “I think I have got a shot!"
